Farm Primordial Guardians

Borderlands 4 - Primordial Guardian Inceptus Battle

Fighting Primordial Guardians give a high chance to drop Legendary Enhancements due to the amount of enemy encounters you get before fighting the Guardian. We recommend farming Primordial Guardian Inceptus as this Guardian is the easiest to kill among all 3!

Primordial Guardians also drop Legendary Class Mods which are extremely hard to loot. This makes farming them even more worthwhile!

The Foundry Freaks boss fight sees you fight through a horde of Rippers while three bosses await you near the end of the run. Due to the sheer volume of enemies that are present in this encounter, you'll have more chances to loot a Legendary Enhancement.

Random Drops from Bosses and Enemies

Random Drops from Bosses

Legendary Enhancements are dropped randomly by Bosses and Badass Enemies (Elites). They are commonly found in the following locations:

  1. Primordial Vaults
  2. Ripper Drill Sites
  3. Abandoned Auger Mines
  4. Order Bunkers

Bosses can be farmed by using Moxxi's Big Encore Machines, usually found at the entrance of the arena.

No Dedicated Loot Drops

Random Drops from Bosses

Legendary Enhancements do not have dedicated loot drops, meaning that any enemy can drop it albeit with a small chance. That is why it is highly recommended to farm boss fights that give a lot of enemy encounters to maximize the chance of looting a Legendary Enhancement.

Legendary Enhancements can also drop from Red Chests found across the open world, which are typically guarded by enemies you must defeat to unlock them.

Legendary Enhancements offer more effects, stronger bonuses, and potentially build-defining upgrades to weapons compared to non-Legendaries. Their increased power makes them much harder to find.

Legendary Enhancements only affect weapons with the indicated manufacturer-licensed parts or those made by the same manufacturer.
