Unlocking Safehouses
Safehouses are fast travel stations that need to be cleared or unlocked. When you unlock a new Safehouse, you will gain 40 SDU. You will also unlock Contract Boards and vending machines for that location.
Capturing Order Silos
Order Silos are the second type of fast travel station that will reveal the location of Vault Key Fragments. When you unlock a new Order Silo, you will gain 40 SDU Tokens and vending machines.
Clearing Ripper Drill Sites
Ripper Drill Sites are a great source of loot and experience because you need to fight hordes of Rippers and a boss. Completing one for the first time will reward you with 40 SDU Tokens.

Clearing Abandoned Augur Mines
Abandoned Augur Mines are locations with animal-type enemies. Defeat the boss to clear the location and gain 40 SDU Tokens.
You have to complete the Shadow of the Mountain main mission to be able to enter them.
Abandoned Auger Mine Locations
Complete Order Bunkers
Order Bunkers are another Activity that has you fighting Order enemies in an underground area. Beating a location's boss for the first time will give you 40 SDU Tokens.
They are accessible after completing One Fell Swoop, because you need Locust Canisters to open them.
Scavenge Ancient Crawlers
Ancient Crawlers are huge vehicles that can be scavenged for vehicle cosmetics. You will also get 40 SDU Tokens when you find their Spare Part. You have to power the vehicle, then climb on top of it to clear it.
Survive Propaganda Speaker Waves
Propaganda Speakers are collectibles that have a survival challenge. After activating one, you will have to fight waves of enemies. If you did not die before ECHO-4 finished hacking it, you will earn 20 SDU Tokens.
Solve Evocarium Puzzles
In certain locations, there are Evocarium puzzles where you need to collect yellow orbs in the area. Interact with the Evocarium stand to quickly reveal where the orbs are. Once you collect them all and interact with the statue, you will get 15 SDU Tokens.
Unlock Loot Capsules
There are Loot Capsules found around Kairos. If you put it in a Capsule machine, found in faction locations like The Launchpad, you will get 15 SDU Tokens and a bunch of loot.
Open Electi Safes
Electi safes have some cash and loot in them. When you open one, you will also receive 10 SDU Tokens.
Find Survivalist Caches
Survivalist Caches are hidden chests of loot found throughout Kairos. Open one for a huge amount of loot and 10 SDU Tokens.
Pray on Auger Shrines
Auger Shrines are another kind of hidden loot chests. After praying near one, you will receive loot and gain 10 SDU Tokens.
Find Vault Symbols
When you interact with a Vault Symbol, you will earn 5 SDU. Though it is not a lot, you should check your map often to see if a Vault Symbol is nearby.
Where to Use SDU Tokens
Spend Them in SDU Menu
You can spend SDU Tokens in the SDU Menu. There are eight storage decks you can upgrade: the maximum ammo count for pistols, SMGs, assault rifles, shotguns, and sniper rifles; Backpack slots; Bank slots; and Lost Loot Machine slots.
How to Increase Inventory Capacity
Price Will Increase For Each Slot
When you buy a new slot, the next upgrade for that storage deck will be more expensive. Spread out your SDU tokens to make your game easier, or save them to upgrade the ammo capacity for a legendary weapon.
Upgrade Backpack Early Game
Generally, you should upgrade your Backpack first. With a bigger backpack, you can take less trips to a bank or a vending machine as you farm.
Then, you can upgrade the maximum ammo of your strongest weapons. If you need more slots for special loot, upgrade your Bank slots instead.
Get Customization for Buying All SDUs
Purchasing all SDUs will complete the Ammomaxxing Storagepilled Inventorycel Challenge. The reward for this is a Customizable Head for your character.
