Borderlands 4 - One Gassy Issue

This is a walkthrough for the One Gassy Issue side mission in Borderlands 4. Follow this guide to find out how to reroute the Locust gas and disable the force fields in the Locust Production Facility.

How to Unlock One Gassy Issue

Complete Main Mission The Means of Ascent

Borderlands 4 - One Gassy Issue Side Mission Location

You must have completed the main mission The Means of Ascent before you can start One Gassy Issue.

After doing so, start the side mission by talking to Beth at Lakeside Properties located in the Fades District of the Dominion region.

One Gassy Issue Walkthrough

Enter the Locust Production Facility

# Walkthrough
1 Talk to Beth by a house and go to the marked location on the map.

Borderlands 4 - Call Elevator
Bordelands 4 - Pull Elevator Down
On the console, press the button to call the elevator, which will not descend. Pull it down with the grappling hook and use the hook again to reach the upper floor.

Borderlands 4 - Vent to Locust Production Facility
Turn left to see a vent. Pull off the lid to enter it. Drop down into a room and defeat Order security.
4 To connect the Locust gas engines, you will have to find two levers in the room.

Borderlands 4 - Pull Lift to Levers
You may first climb the lift on top (marked with yellow paint) and jump to the platform. Pull the lever to connect the Locust gas engine.
6 To get to the next lever, pull the lift going right and use it as a platform. Jump over to the second lever and pull it.
7 Activate the Locust gas engine at the console.

Reroute the Locust Gas

Borderlands 4 - Go Back to Armored Door
Taking the door behind the console, reach the sorting station entrance. There, destroy the bio-armored door using the newly activated Locust cannister dispenser. Enter and defeat the security forces.

Borderlands 4 - Disable Force Fields
You will then have to disable the force fields in the room. To do this, interact with the consoles in front of the force fields. You can only do this one at a time.

After disabling one force field, you will have to fight a wave of enemies. Do the same for the second force field to defeat the second wave of enemies.

Borderlands 4 - Kill Station Defender
After disabling the force fields, kill the station defender.

Because the station defender has armored skin, you must use the nearby Locust cannisters to temporarily disable it and then damage it. Repeat until it is defeated.
4 Go to the console at the end of the room. Finish the mission by turning the switch to reroute the Locust gas throughout the city.
