This is a walkthrough for the Broken Ships side mission in Borderlands 4. Read on to follow the objectives and clear the mission, as well as how to fix the mission bug.

How to Unlock Broken Ships
Complete Another Day, Another Universe and Electi Questline
To unlock Broken Ships, complete the Another Day, Another Universe main mission and the Electi questline, which starts with Enter the Electi Part 1.
You can then start the side mission by talking to Zane in Moxxi's Bottoms Up, located southwest of Ruined Sumplands.
How to Fix Broken Ships Mission Bug
Replay Another Day, Another Universe and Fast Travel to Moxxi's Bottoms Up
Some players have reported a bug where they're unable to start Broken Ships. The first solution we recommend is to simply fast travel back to Moxxi's Bottoms Up or reload the game and approach Zane again.
If you still can’t start the mission, another solution is to replay Another Day, Another Universe. Once you reach Elpis during the mission, fast travel to Moxxi's Bottoms Up, and you should then be able to accept the quest from Zane.
Broken Ships Walkthrough
Find Drone Part

| 1 |  Head to the ripper camp just northwest of Moxxi's Bottoms Up. Get ready to fight enemies in the area! |
| 2 |  There are three marked spots for the drone part, but the correct one is high up in the factory. To reach it, climb the stacked houses in the northeast part of the camp (which has a Marcus Bobblehead), then glide to the factory. |
| 3 |  Jump to the platform on the left, then grapple up further on the factory. Melee the petrified enemy to get the drone part. Note that there's also an Electi Safe nearby. |
| 4 | Return to Zane and give him the drone part. |
Find Gift for Zane

| 1 |  Travel north to the rendezvous site in Hull's Handbasket. Clear the area of enemies and leave once you're done. |
| 2 |  From there, make your way northeast to the ripper camp under the stone bridge. Take the brown bottle next the porta potty as a gift for Zane. |
| 3 | Return to Hull's Handbasket and clear the rendezvous site again. |
| 4 |  Save Zane and Levaine at the top of the tower. Jump to the large crane from the stairs on the left side. Climb up the tower and interact with the console next to the door to free the two lovebirds. This completes the mission! |

Anonymous 2 monthsAfter completing the main mission which teleports me to the room in Moxxis I cant interact with Zane. I've completed the whole Electi questline but Zane doesn't have the mission for me. Restarting or teleporting doesn't seem to work.

having g the exact same issue. Tried every fix from restarting and completing, teleporting, and andbandonging the prerequisite quest "New Day, New Universe" mission, and nothing fixes it. Ive even tried reseting the game (even during the prerequisite) and uninstall and reinstalled. The fixes people say are ethier BS or completely random. It seems like it only works when it wants to. Makes me wonder how many other quests aint showing up.
