How to Unlock A Quarry of Epic Proportions

Complete The Neverending Quarry

Borderlands 4 Ammo Vending Machine Location

A Quarry of Epic Proportions is a hidden side mission that is not marked on the map or given by any NPC. You must also complete The Neverending Quarry first before unlocking this mission.

Once unlocked, you can start A Quarry of Epic Proportions by traveling to Frantic Scrawl, located near the center of the Terminus District in Dominion. From there, head northeast and enter the tunnel. Interact with the ammo vending machine, then immediately step back to avoid the explosion.

Defeat Genius Ambush

Borderlands 4 Survive Genius Ambush

After the ammo vending machine explodes, Horatio will contact you once again and ambush you. As with the previous side mission, survive the ambush and kill the enemies to complete the mission!
