How to Unlock Free for the TASKing

Complete The Kairos Job

Borderlands 4 Free for the TASKing Kilo Location

Free for the TASKing is part of a questline that starts with The Kairos Job. Complete The Kairos Job first before unlocking Free for the TASKing.

You can then start the side mission by talking to Kilo at The Launchpad, southeast of The Howl. Kilo can be found near the house in the northern part of The Launchpad.

Find Order Pod

Borderlands 4 Free for the TASKing Order Pod Location
Head northeast to the Order pod. It will be on a cliff near the wind turbines.
2 Approach the side of the Order pod and Kilo will then instruct you on how to open it. You must follow her instructions quickly, as each command has a 4 second timer.

Note that there is a difference between pressing and smacking the button. If it's the latter, use your melee to hit the button.

When you’re ready, smack or melee the red button. The sequence is as follows:
