Horrors of Kairos Release Date
October 23, 2025
The Seasonal Event Horrors of Kairos is expected to release on October 23, 2025, and will end on November 6, 2025.
Horrors of Kairos Features and Content
New Legendary Gear
| Murmur Legendary Tediore Assault Rifle | Executes weakened enemies with guaranteed crits on targets under 35% health |
| Skully Legendary Order Grenade | This death-dealing grenade fires out projectiles as it seeks out the nearest target |
2 Legendary gear will be added in the Horrors of Kairos Event: the Murmur Legendary Rifle and the Skully Legendary Ordnance. Both legendary gear will have unique traits that can enhance your firepower even more!
Both pieces of legendary equipment can be obtained by defeating world bosses, known as Rift Champions on the world map.
Rift Champions Randomly Spawn on the Map
Rift Champions can spawn randomly, marked by an exclamation point on the map. During exploration, you'll know a Rift Champion is nearby when the sky darkens as you approach the world boss.
If you don't see Rift Champions on your map, try killing some bosses or doing Ripper Drill Sites. Just make sure to check your map after each boss kill!

During the event, 2 new cosmetic items will be added: Gourd Your Loins, a pumpkin head cosmetic, and Hex Appeal, a universal weapon skin. Both cosmetic items will be claimable with the use of SHiFT codes!

New Weather Variant
During World Boss encounters, the weather will change into blood rain. This matches the theme of the event and will give players more immersion during world boss fights!
