Vile Protoype Location

Found in Lictor's Black Site

Found in Lictor

Vile Protoype is located in Lictor's Black Site, Windspear in Terminus Range. Vile Protoype appears as a boss encounter in the main mission, Dark Subject.

Vile Protoype can also be repeatedly farmed after you complete Dark Subject. Return to the location after the main mission and spend cash at the Moxxi's Big Encore Machine near the entrance of the boss arena to re-farm it.

Check icon Shoot the Eridium Crystals on His Body

Shoot the Eridium Crystals on His Body

Vile Prototype starts the fight invulnerable because of the Eridium crystals attached to his body. Prioritize destroying these crystals first to make him vulnerable to damage.

Destroy Vile Ordonites to Prevent Crystal Restoration

After a crystal is destroyed, a Vile Ordonite will spawn. Take it out quickly, as it will eventually restore his Eridium crystal.

Target Head for Extra Damage

Prioritize aiming for his head to deal increased damage. Consistently focusing your fire here will help deplete his health more efficiently.
