Can You Duel in Borderlands 4?

No PvP For Multiplayer

At present, there is no Duel mechanic in Borderlands 4 where you can fight or attack other players. The mechanic is present in both previous titles Borderlands 1 and 2, where you can initiate a duel by hitting your partymates with a melee attack.

Could Be a Future Update

A PvP mechanic could be added in a future update. However, as of this writing, there is no news or hints that it will appear in post-launch content.

actually dueling was in the first borderlands with just a melee to challenge your ally. so your wrong it wasn't originated in BL2 but actually the first one.
