Farming the right bosses can speed up the process of grinding for legendary gear in Borderlands 4. Read on to see the best bosses to farm in the game by continuing below!
| Boss Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Splashzone | Easiest and Fastest Boss to Farm |
| Primordial Guardian Inceptus | Best Boss to Farm for Legendary Class Mods |

Due to how early this boss can be encountered, his moveset only consists of a few melee attacks and his health pool is very low. Additionally, Moxxi's Big Encore Machine is so near the boss arena that you can reach it by just jumping and gliding, making farming incredibly fast.
Splashzone can be found in the Coastal Bonescape in Fadefields.
You can farm Splashzone extremely fast if you have a friend to play with! Either you or your friend will kill Splashzone while the other one waits at Moxxi's Big Encore Machine to ressurect him immediately.
The combined near distance of Moxxi's Big Encore Machine and Splashzone's low health makes farming extremely fast!

While all three guardians drop legendary class mods, we recommend farming Inceptus. Origo and Radix both have ranged AOE attacks that can make approaching them tough while Inceptus has a mechanic that makes him attack less when you break his blue shield.
Additionally, Inceptus can be found in the Dissected Plateau in Fadefields. This makes fast travelling from Splashzone to Inceptus more convenient as you avoid the warning of entering a new region if you are playing with a squad.
Primordial Guardian Inceptus Drops and Location

If you wish to farm other bosses to obtain a legendary class mod, you can try farming story bosses. Out of all the story bosses, we recommend farming the Ripper Queen due to having little to no gimmicks in her boss fight.
Generally, farming the weekly boss is not worth it due to the cost of Eridium. While 100 Eridium doesn't seem like a big number, farming a weekly boss over and over will cost you a lot.
Considering that Eridium is not as abundant as cash, farming normal bosses is much better since you gain more cash by selling unwanted gear. Additionally, normal bosses are a lot easier to kill and will net you more loot in the long run.
