How to Get Lead Balloon

Chance Drop from Splashzone in Riptide Grotto

Splashzone

The Lead Balloon shotgun is a chance drop from Splashzone after defeating him in Riptide Grotto in Coastal Bonescape, The Fadefields region.

If the Lead Balloon doesn't drop, you can use Moxxi's Big Encore Machine just outside of the boss arena to make Splashzone spawn again. Note that the encore costs Cash and the cost will increase the more you level up.

Has a Chance to Drop from Legendary Loot Sources

Red Chests

Aside from farming Splashzone, Lead Balloon also has a small chance of dropping from regular legendary loot sources like red chests, golden key chests, and other bosses. You can speed up your legendary farming by using a boss farm or endgame build for your Vault Hunter.
