Similar to your other equipment slots, the Enhancement slot is level-gated. Once you hit Level 15, this slot will become available and Enhancements will start dropping from regular loot sources and Bosses as you play.

Enhancements are dropped randomly by Bosses, Badass Enemies (Elites), and Red Chests. They are commonly found in the following locations:

Enhancements give additional buffs and interactions to your gun's primary weapon manufacturer part, often boosting their effectiveness exponentially.
