This is a walkthrough for the Siege and Destroy mission in Borderlands 4. Read on to follow the objectives and clear the mission.

Objective 1: Destroy All Catapults

# Walkthrough

Borderlands 4 - Follow Zane
Talk to Zane and follow him to the pit below the bar. You may briefly talk to Moxxi before heading down.

Borderlands 4 - Release Sophia
In the pit, you will meet Zane's thresher Sophia. Using your grappling hook, release her from the cage, then take her toy sitting on the box.

Borderlands 4 - Kill All Rippers in Area
Zane will show you the way back to the first catapult you failed to destroy. Back there, kill all rippers in the area.

Borderlands 4 - Put Sophia
After killing all rippers, use your grappling hook to climb the top of the catapult. Put Sophia's toy down and run away to make way for Sophia to destroy it. Afterwards, take the toy again.

Borderlands 4 - Second Catapult
Go to the second catapult and kill all the rippers in the area. Like earlier, climb the catapult and set Sophia's toy down to have her destroy it.

Borderlands 4 - Third Catapult in Force Field
Borderlands 4 - Turn Off Force Field
Go to the third and last catapult, which is shielded by a force field. To disable it, scale the nearby building with a tower or go around it to take the ladders. Once up there, flip the switch on the console to disable the force field.

Unlike the previous catapults, you do not have to kill all rippers here. From the building, glide over to the catapult and put Sophia's toy down to destroy it.

Objective 2: Clear Carcadia of Rippers

Borderlands 4 - Go to Carcadia
With all catapults destroyed, proceed to Carcadia and kill all rippers there to reach the city square. Zane will assist you in the assault.

Borderlands 4 - Callis Kills Sophia
Borderlands 4 - Kill Captain Kuzma
Upon reaching the city square, Callis, the Ripper Queen will appear and kill Sophia. Fend off the last wave of rippers and kill Captain Kuzma.

To effectively kill Captain Kuzma, go behind him and use your grappling hook to remove the contraption on his back. This will remove his shield.

Borderlands 4 - Go to Leaders Chamber
Once the area is cleared, enter the Leaders Chamber up the steps. You may optionally talk to Zane first to comfort him about Sophia's death.

Borderlands 4 - Collect Reward from Levaine
Inside, speak with Levaine, who will reward you with a weapons chest. Exit the building through a doorway to the side to find the chest and end the mission.
