This is a walkthrough for the TASK Master side mission in Borderlands 4. Read on to follow the objectives and clear the mission, as well as how to replace power core.
How to Unlock TASK Master
Complete TASK and Ye Shall Receive
TASK Master is part of a questline that starts with The Kairos Job. Complete The Kairos Job, Free for the TASKing, and TASK and Ye Shall Receive before unlocking TASK Master.
Once unlocked, you can start the side mission by talking to Kilo at The Launchpad, southeast of The Howl. Kilo can be found near the house in the northern part of The Launchpad.
TASK Master Walkthrough
Find Order Pod

| 1 |  Once you've accepted the quest, head to Mirehome, southeast of Idolator's Noose. The Order pod will be located on top of a ruined building. |
| 2 | Kilo will then instruct you on how to open the pod. You must follow her instructions quickly, as each command has a 4-6 second timer. Note that Kilo will give trick commands, such as “don't pull the lever.” In those cases, do nothing and wait a moment for the next command. There is also a difference between pressing and smacking the button. If it's the latter, use your melee to hit the button. |
| 3 |  When you’re ready, smack or melee the red button. The sequence is as follows: ・Flip switch ・Replace power core ・Pull lever ・Don’t flip switch ・Press button ・Melee button ・Shoot panel ・Remove power core ・Don’t pull lever ・Shoot panel ・Flip switch ・Melee button ・Replace power core ・Press button ・Press button ・Melee button ・Press button ・Remove power core ・Flip switch ・Pull lever ・Shoot panel ・Pull lever ・Flip switch ・Replace power core |
| 4 |  When you're done, the Order pod will open with a chest inside, completing the mission. |
How to Replace Power Core
Use Grappling Hook to Pull a Power Core
To replace the power core, use your grappling hook to pull a core from the upper left side and throw it onto the upper right spot. To remove the power core, use your grappling hook to grab the core from the upper right spot and immediately throw it away.

I don't understand why, but step 8 "Remove the power core" immediately fails the sequence when I remove the core from the top-right slot. I know I'm doing the step correctly.
