Upgrade your backpack by using SDU Tokens to further increase the amount you can loot and sell.
How to Increase Inventory Capacity
To sell an items directly from your inventory, go to a vending machine and switch from Buy to Sell using RB/RT. Select the items you want to sell and press X for Playstation, A for Xbox, or the left mouse button for PC.

Since your backpack slots are limited, it is highly recommended to sell guns and equipment that are low in level and tier. Use these as an additional source of cash while freeing your backpack slots to loot stronger equipment.
You can also increase your backpack capacity with SDU tokens so you can gather more junk to sell in vending machines.
