How to Get Frangible
Chance From World Drop
Frangible has a chance to drop from any loot source, including bosses, red chests, and survivalist cache. There is currently no dedicated boss that guarantees it, so farming areas with high loot density will increase your chances.
Unique Effects
Zero Values on Damage, Elemental Status Effect, and DPS
Frangible displays zero values for its damage, elemental status effect and DPS. Despite this, the weapon is fully functional. Its power comes from the special effects tied to its licensed parts.
Inherits Abilities From Multiple Manufacturers
Frangible comes loaded with licensed parts from multiple manufacturers simultaneously, though these don’t appear in its weapon information. It can carry abilities such as a Hyperion gun shield while aiming down sights, firing Torgue sticky mines, landing Jakobs-style ricochets on critical hits, or even a throwing gun turret on reload like Tediore.
Frangible may not feel particularly strong, but with the right combination of items and skills, it can become a surprisingly effective weapon.
