Meet Penelope Streams in Vend of the Line Side Mission

Borderlands 4 - Vicious News Cycle Hot Tag Side Mission Location

After meeting Penelope Streams for the first time in the side mission Vend of the Line, she goes off to trigger three related side missions in Carcadia Burn: Vicious News Cycle: Cannon Fodder, Vicious News Cycle: Hot Tag, and Vicious News Cycle: Mine Time Live.

These three side missions can be done any time.

You may start Vicious News Cycle: Hot Tag by talking to Penelope Streams by a wrestling ring under a building in a ripper camp in the Ruined Sumplands.

Fight in the Ring

Borderlands 4 - Fight Bowel Buster
Talk to Penelope Streams. Then, get in the ring and wait for Bowel Buster to appear.
2 Fight Bowel Buster. Although the objective tells you to melee him, it is possible to defeat him by simply shooting him with no consequences.
3 Once Bowel Buster is almost down, you have the option to tag Dave and let him beat Bowel Buster himself.

However, if you defeat Bowel Buster without tagging Dave, Dave will turn on you and you must defeat him too.
4 Whatever the outcome in the match, the side mission will be completed once Penelope Streams finishes her commentary.
