Dalmo's Log	The cheeky Mitite lays its eggs inside the eggs of other creatures to provide its offspring with an easy first meal. When they come wriggling and squiggling out, it's spine-chilling! But you can't blame the newly hatched larvae. After all, you might enjoy an egg or two yourself now and then.
Olimar's Log	These parasitic insects feed on eggs. Upon reaching maturity, they excrete a special pheromone that attracts females of particular species, enticing these females to swallow the Mitites whole. (Pikmin, however, seem to dislike the scent.) After entering the host female's body, the Mitites lay their own eggs inside the host's eggs just prior to the host spawning.
Louie's Log	Flash fry with garlic and red chilies in a hot pan, then sprinkle with grated Gorgonzola. Some dinner guests may find the legs unappealing, so it's best to remove them before serving.

How to Defeat Mitite

Pikmin and Oatchi Will Panic on Contact

Oatchi and your Pikmin will panic immediately if they come into contact with the Mitite. They won't take damage, but they will scatter. You can use your whistle to call them back.

Purchase a Power Whistle to Expand the Range

Purchase the Power Whistle from The Lab to expand the range of your whistle about 1.5 times.

Throw Pikmin for a Direct Hit to Defeat

The Mitite will be defeated immediately if hit directly by a Pikmin. However, if you miss and the bugs touch the Pikmin, the Pikmin will panic. Throwing a lot of Pikmin will ensure a direct hit to occur.

Drops Nectar When Killed

When a Mitite is killed, it will drop Nectar. Nectar can be absorbed by Pikmin to bloom flowers and move faster. If you have Pikmin that haven't bloomed, be sure to defeat the bugs.

Can Pop Out From Eggs

Eggs commonly contain nectar when you break them. However, Mitite can also spawn from eggs after breaking them. So, always be vigilant and be ready to attack at any time.
