With Chemist, you can double the duration of any aid item. This ability entails you getting twice the value of aid items such as Stealth Boys, Magazines, and any chems you need to get that boost in stats!

4. Better Criticals

Description 50% more damage with critical hits.

Criticals should feel as if you shoot between the opponent's eyes. With Better Criticals, your opponent's head just immediately flies off. Better Criticals shine better with weapons with increased critical chance, such as pistols and hunting rifles.

5. Cowboy

Description 25% more damage done by dynamite, hatchets, knives, revolvers, and lever-action guns.

Cowboy, as simple as it is, is a flat-out damage boost to a myriad of weapons. Having many options during a gunfight can make a significant difference between life and death.

6. Rapid Reload

Description All of your weapon reloads are 25% faster than normal.

With Rapid Reload, you do not need to worry about the lag between firing shots during gunfights. While it is a simple perk, Rapid Reloads increases your damage by letting you dish out more bullets!

7. The Professional

The Professional

Description Sneak Attack Criticals with revolvers, pistols, and submachine guns inflict additional 20% damage.

While the description only states that The Professional only boosts sneak criticals, it is bugged to include standard crits. When paired along with Better Criticals, you will hit like a freight train, even with pistols.

8. Hand Loader

Description When using Guns, 2x more chance to recover cases and hulls. You have all hand load recipes unlocked at any reloading benches.

Given the introduction of multiple ammo types, having Hand Loader is a must. Hand-loaded ammunition are better than basic ammunition due to having insane damage multipliers. As a bonus, you also recover more casings and hulls for bullet manufacturing!

9. Grim Reaper's Sprint

Grim Reaper's Sprint

Description A kill in V.A.T.S. restores 20 AP immediately.

Grim Reaper's Sprint, simply put, allows you to spam V.A.T.S. repeatedly by constantly replenishing your AP as you kill enemies. It is unlikely for you to run out of gas with this perk.
