This is a walkthrough of the Return to Sender side quest in Fallout New Vegas (FNV). Read on to learn how to unlock Return to Sender, where to find Reyes, the quest rewards, and the best dialogue choices for completing the Return to Sender side quest.
You can begin this side quest by talking to Technical Sergeant Reyes in the main tent at Camp Forlorn Hope.
Talk to Technical Sergeant Reyes in the main tent at Camp Forlorn Hope to begin this quest. She will task you with delivering codes to six Ranger stations.
Follow your compass to the Ranger Stations and deliver the codes to the relevant officers. This can be accomplished in any order, allowing you to fast travel to previously visited Ranger Stations before discovering new ones.

After delivering all the codes, report back to Sgt. Reyes. She will ask you to return to three Ranger Stations to investigate some reports.
Go to Ranger Stations Alpha, Delta, and Foxtrot to investigate the reports. As with the earlier objective, you can accomplish this in any order.

Return to Camp Forlorn Hope and report back to Sgt. Reyes. She will then ask you to inform Chief Hanlon on what you discovered.
At Camp Golf, proceed to the House Resort and make your way to the balcony just above the main entrance. Talk to Chief Hanlon and ask about the intel problems. At this point he will want to continue this conversation in his office.
Follow Chief Hanlon to his office and talk to him. You will need to choose between turning him in, letting him be, or killing him yourself to complete this side quest.
Upon getting to Chief Hanlon's office and speaking with him, you will need to choose how this side quest ends. We recommend turning him in as you can get his Ranger Sequoia gun afterwards. Do note that while Hanlon is dead, this gun is still his property and picking it up will negatively affect your Karma.
