Talk to Alice McLafferty

Fallout New Vegas - Talk to Alice

Talk to Alice McLafferty at the Crimson Caravan Company and ask for a job. She'll task you with a delivery for Thomas Hildern at Camp McCarran.

Head to Camp McCarran

Fallout New Vegas - Delivery for Thomas Hildern

Head to Camp McCarran and follow your compass inside the terminal building to find Hildern. Give him the invoice then return to Crimson Caravan Company and talk to Alice McLafferty again to continue this quest. She'll then task you with getting Henry Jamison to quit his job as well as convincing Cass to sell her caravan company.

Convince Henry Jamison to Quit

Fallout New Vegas - Talk to Henry Jamison

Head to the Atomic Wrangler in Freeside and talk to Henry Jamison. You can select any of the options as they all lead to him quitting but if you have 50 Speech, we recommend threatening to tell on Jamison as this choice awards you with 500 Caps from Alice McLafferty.

After convincing Henry Jamison to quit, you can head back to Crimson Caravan Company and update Alice or you can continue with the next objective. Alternatively, you can do this after completing the other objectives in this side quest to avoid traveling around the place.

Negotiate With Cass

Fallout New Vegas - Negotiate with Cass

Follow your compass to the barracks at Mojave Outpost and talk to Cass. Skill checks for this conversation include: 50 Barter, 75 Barter, 50 Speech, and 75 Speech. While selecting any of the choices progresses this quest, it should be noted that selecting the choice that requires 50 Speech results in you taking on a separate side quest called Can You Find It in Your Heart?.

Best Choice When Negotiating with Cass

Optional: Acquire the Gun Runners' Manufacturing Specifications

Fallout New Vegas - Download the specifications

Head to the Gun Runners headquarters located south of Freeside and beside the counter there is a fence door secured with an Average lock. If you aren't confident in your Sneak skill, you can use a Stealth Boy to make your way inside. Enter the headquarters and follow your compass to the terminal where you can download the manufacturing specifications.

Talk to Alice McLafferty

Fallout New Vegas - Talk to Alice again

After completing all the objectives, head back to Crimson Caravan Company and talk to Alice McLafferty to complete this side quest.

Best Choice for You Can Depend on Me

Play On Cass' Pride While Negotiating

Fallout New Vegas - Negotiations with Cass

If you have 75 Speech the best choice you can make when negotiating with Cass is to play on her pride and convince her to being bought out. This lets you avoid spending Caps to convince her as well as not having to take on the Can You Find It in Your Heart? side quest.
