How to Unlock Booted

Talk to Boxcars at Nipton

You can start the Booted side quest simply by giving Boxcars some Med-X inside the Nipton General Store.

1 Talk to Boxcards inside the Nipton General Store
2 Go to the Legion Raid Camp
3 Save the Powder Gangers
Reward: 100 XP

Talk to Boxcards inside the Nipton General Store

Talk to Boxcars - Booted Side Quest
Head to Nipton and look for the General Store on the south side. Here, you will find Boxcars requesting for some Med-X. After giving him some Med-X, ask Boxcars about the enslaved then you will receive the Booted side quest.

Go to the Legion Raid Camp

Legion Raid Camp Location - Booted Side Quest
Travel northeast of Nipton to the Legion Raid Camp. You will encounter a couple of enemies along the way and more in the camp. Eliminate all of the Legion members to clear the area.

Save the Powder Gangers

Save the Powder Gangers - Booted Side Quest
After clearing the area, untie the Powder Gangers near the campfire to complete the quest.
