This is a guide that shows all of the collectibles in the interactive map in Fallout New Vegas (FNV). See the location of all Snow Globes and Skill Books on the map, as well as all fast travel points!

![]() | Show Names This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown. |
![]() | Show Pins This button will toggle between showing and hiding all the pins which you have already marked as acquired. |
![]() | Fullscreen This button will change the map display to fill the screen. |
![]() | Search Mode Toggle This button will display a searchbar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name. |
![]() | Icon Mode Toggle In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again. |
![]() | All Pins This button is shown along with the Icons on the right when there are over 6 types of pins. Click it for a full selection of all available pin types. |
![]() | Counter Tracks the number of pins you have of a certain type. The pin type shown is set to the page and currently cannot be changed; however, all pin type counters can be viewed by clicking the checklist icon on the right side. |

Fast Travel Points are points of interest that you can fast travel to only if you've already discovered them or when you're not in combat. Discovering these will earn you experpience points, so it's good to look out for landmarks, encampments, and the like to unlock fast travel points.
Completing side quests nets you rewards, and some side quests allow you to gain access to certain facilities that were previously locked or unlock more of the game's content.

The Wasteland can be dangerous, so it's great to have a companion or two accompanying you on your journey. Find them and help solve their problems to get them to join you, providing fire support and other perks!
Best Companions and List of Companions
Snow Globes are found throughout the Wasteland and can be sold to Jane in Lucky 38 for 2000 Caps. The snow globes you give to Jane will be added to the collection found in the Presidential Suite of the same building.
Skill Books are placed in different locations throughout the Wasteland and can be used to permanently gain skill points in a specific skill, depending on which skill book is used.

A plethora of Unique Weapons can be found in the Wasteland if you look close enough! These unique weapons are unique variants of existing weapons that have distinct features, special effects, or gimmicks that truly makes them unique.
Along with unique weapons, there are also unique armor pieces that are usually worn by NPCs and can be collected for your personal collection!
Power Armor are one of the best armor pieces to get, offering enough resilience to withstand even the toughest of enemies in the Wasteland!
Explore the vaults scattered throughout the Wasteland and discover the hidden lore of the vaults, as well as loot and collectibles if you know where to look!
