How to Unlock Wang Dang Atomic Tango

Talk to James Garret

You can begin this quest by talking to James Garret in the Atomic Wrangler at Freeside. If he isn't at the bar when you go there, let time pass/sleep and return to the bar at 1:00PM.

Wang Dang Atomic Tango Walkthrough

Talk to James Garret

Talk to James Garret at the Atomic Wrangler and ask if he has any work for you. He'll task you with recruiting a ghoul cowboy, a suave talker, and a sexbot. You can recruit them in any order.

If you have 40 Speech, you can convince James to give you 200 Caps for completing this job.

Recruit a Real Ghoul Cowboy

Head to the Old Mormon Fort and talk to Beatrix Russell and ask her to join Garret's club. After she accepts, you can either go back to the club and let James Garret know you've recruited a ghoul cowboy or you can continue with recruitment.

Recruit a Suave Talker

For the suave talker, you will have two choices: Santiago or Old Ben. Old Ben can be found standing by the Securitrons near the entrance of The Strip while Santiago is by a demolished building outside Freeside.

After recruiting either Santiago or Old Ben, you can either go back to the club and let James Garret know you've recruited a suave talker or you can continue with the last recruit.

Recruit a Sexbot

Continue following your compass to the area by the Bakery outside Freeside. Enter the grey building and enter the room through the door on the left. There will be rats in this area so be prepared to fight them. If your character has 50 Science, you can go ahead and interact with the computer to activate Fisto the sexbot.

If your character does not have 50 Science, you can talk to Ralph at Mick & Ralph's in Freeside and get a holotape to activate Fisto. After Fisto is switched on, finish your conversation with the sexbot then head back to the Atomic Wrangler.

Talk to James Garret

Talk to James Garret to complete this quest. If you haven't talked to him in between getting each recruit, you will need to select and go through the dialogue options for each of the characters you've recruited.

While telling James about the sexbot, you can capitalize on his enthusiasm with Fisto as he can give you an extra 150 Caps should you have either 40 Barter or 40 Speech and select the corresponding choice.

Best Choice for Wang Dang Atomic Tango

Recruit Santiago Over Old Ben

We recommend recruiting Santiago over Old Ben since the conversation with Santiago goes by faster and does not require a skill check. Unlike Old Ben where you'd need to have 50 Speech to recruit him, Santiago accepts the job once you ask him.
