Is Swift Learner Worth It?

Great for Beginners, Useless Later On

If you are starting your first playthrough, consider getting the Swift Learner to max out your Courier's Level much quicker. Leveling up quicker allows you to scout out the perks you would want in a later run.

However, this consumes an essential perk slot and is useless after maxing out the level cap. Maxing out your level is also guaranteed, so Swift Learner makes the process faster; consider getting a better level 2 perk such as Rapid Reload!

How to Get Swift Learner Perk

Reach Lv. 2

You can get Swift Learner after reaching Lv. 2.

Leveling up quickly can be done by exploiting the Goodsprings side quest, getting the “Well Rested” bonus, and doing other side quests among others.

Have Intelligence 4

To get Swift Learner, you also need to have Intelligence 4.

You can increase a SPECIAL stat by getting the Intense Training Perk once you reach Level 2 or by buying an implant from Dr. Usanagi.

Having Swift Learner as a perk lets you gain an additional 10% whenever experience points are earned.
