Entomologist is a type of Regular Perk in Fallout New Vegas. See if Entomologist is worth getting, how to get it, its effects, as well as its ID and how to get Entomologist through Console Command.

It is recommended to skip Entomologist as it loses value when facing other enemies. There are much better perks you can get that can define your builds.
However, if you are not fond of bug-type enemies such as the Cazadors, you can take this perk to make their encounters significantly easier.
You can get Entomologist after reaching Lv. 4.
Leveling up quickly can be done by exploiting the Goodsprings side quest, getting the “Well Rested” bonus, and doing other side quests among others.

To get Entomologist, you also need to have Intelligence 4.
You can increase a SPECIAL stat by getting the Intense Training Perk once you reach Level 2 or by buying an implant from Dr. Usanagi.
