Talk to Gloria Van Graff

You can begin this side quest by taking to Gloria Van Graff at Silver Rush, located in Freeside.

Talk to Gloria Van Graff

Talk to Gloria Van Graff at the Silver Rush to begin this side quest. Ask her for a job and she will task you with guarding the entrance of the Silver Rush.

Guard the Silver Rush Entrance

Head outside the Silver Rush and talk to Simon then stand on the opposite side of the door to guard the entrance. There will be four customers that you will need to check before they enter. Deny the first customer as he is a drunk. The second customer is fine to let in so just search him for weapons.

The third customer requires a 65 Speech skill check in order to be searched but is otherwise go to let in as well. The fourth customer will be carrying a bomb to search him or ask if he's drunk. He will turn hostile so prepare to fight.

Talk to Gloria

After the fourth customer, Pacer will walk up to the entrance but instead of entering, he will ask you to deliver a message. After talking to Pacer, head inside and talk to Gloria.

Deliver the Package

Follow the marker on your compass to the Strange Man and interact with him to deliver the Van Graff Package. Afterwards, you can head back to the Silver Rush and report back to Gloria.

Talk to Jean-Baptiste Cutting

Speak with Jean-Baptiste and he will task you with bringing Rose of Sharon Cassidy (or Cass) to the Silver Rush.

Bring Cass to the Silver Rush

Head to the Mojave Outpost and talk to Cass who is sitting at the bar. You will need to have finished the objective regarding Cassidy Caravans in the side quest You Can Depend on Me. before you can recruit her.

After recruiting Cass as a companion, head back to the Silver Rush and talk to Jean-Baptiste. You will have to choose what happens to Cass but in order to complete this side quest, she will need to die.

Talk to Gloria

After Cass's death, talk to Gloria for the next objective where you will be part of her escort. After your conversation, the quest will cut to the next location at the warehouse.

Go to the Abandoned Warehouse

At the warehouse, Gloria will instruct you to follow her lead during the transaction. Gloria will then talk a member of Caesar's Legion when suddenly a fight will break out. After all the Legion members are defeated, talk to Gloria then the quest will cut again to the Silver Rush.

At the Silver Rush, Gloria will talk to you again where you can ask questions about what just happened. This side quest will end after completing the conversation.

Best Choice for Birds of a Feather

Kill Cass to Complete This Quest

While keeping Cass as a companion might be the better decision for the story, it would be best to kill her as this quest requires it in order to progress. Refusing to kill Cass causes all the people in the Silver Rush to turn hostile and can fail the quest.
