The YCS/186 is the best unique weapon in Fallout New Vegas. It can kill a Deathclaw in one-shot from afar when aiming at its head while crouched, for the added sneak attack damage bonus.
Keep in mind that it uses 4 ammo in one shot, which makes it a good idea to use it on tougher enemies instead of the weaker ones.

Oh, Baby! is a unique melee weapon that boasts high damage, but is slow when executing attacks. It's useful for when you've run out of ammo!
It can kill a Deathclaw in 3 charged attacks and 1 normal attack. Just time your attacks right to avoid missing your hits.
Weapon Mods cannot be added to unique weapons, at least in the base game. Unique weapons already have higher stats than their original counterparts.
