This is a walkthrough of the Pressing Matters side quest in Fallout New Vegas (FNV). Read on to learn how to unlock Pressing Matters, where to find Alice McLafferty, and the quest rewards for completing the Pressing Matters side quest.

You can begin this side quest by talking to Alice McLafferty in the main office of the Crimson Caravan Company located just outside of Freeside. If she isn't at her desk, you will need to let time pass/sleep until 8:00 AM.
The side quest You Can Depend on Me will have to be completed as you can't trigger Alice McLafferty's dialogue that allows you to begin the Pressing Matters quest.

Talk to Alice McLafferty in the Crimson Caravan Company to begin this side quest. After speaker with her, follow your compass to the Sunset Sarsaparilla Headquarters south west of Crimson Caravan Company.
When you arrive at the Sunset Sarsaparilla headquarters, there will be security Protectrons that you need to defeat. After clearing all the robots, look for the bottle cap press in the middle of the two stacks of boxes.
Interact with the bottle cap press then select the option to "Strip all the important-looking bits out of the machine".
After disabling the bottle cap press, return to the Crimson Caravan Company and talk to Alice McLafferty to complete this side quest.
