Hunter - Is It Worth It?

Hunter is a type of Regular Perk in Fallout New Vegas. See if Hunter is worth getting, how to get it, its effects, as well as its ID and how to get Hunter through Console Command.

Is Hunter Worth It?

Niche Crit Perk

While 75% additional critical damage is significant, Hunter only applies to the weakest enemy type in the game, animals. This increase in critical damage does not include abominations such as Deathclaws, so the perk is further limited.

Not only is this perk limited to critical builds, but it provides only a benefit to rare and easily manageable encounters to the point that it is significant.

How to Get Hunter Perk

Reach Lv. 2

You can get Hunter after reaching Lv. 2.

Leveling up quickly can be done by exploiting the Goodsprings side quest, getting the “Well Rested” bonus, and doing other side quests among others.
