How to Increase Medicine Skill

Use a Skill Magazine or a Skill Book

Temporary Permanently

(Skill Book)

You can increase your Medicine skill using Skill Magazines and Skill Books. Skill Magazines can temporarily increase your Medicine skill while a Skill Book can increase it permanently.

We recommend grabbing the skill book for Medicine to increase this skill for good.

Use a Console Command

Format player.setav Medicine [your desired level]
Example player.setav Medicine 100

You can also increase your Medicine skill using a console command. Follow the format above and add your desired level at the end of the command without the [ ] symbol.

What Does Medicine Do?

Increases the Effectiveness of Recovery Items

Equipped with the know-how of medicinal consumables, the Courier can effectively use recovery items without loss of potency.

With each point invested into Medicine, the Courier will have increased HP gain from Stimpaks and more radiation mitigated by Rad-X and Radaway! When you reach 100 points in Medicine, it will triple the effectiveness of these items.
