Thermic Lance
CND: 800 |
||
Damage | Ammo | Fire Rate |
---|---|---|
100 | - | 1 |
STR Req. | Skill Req. | AP |
5-7 | 100 | 65 |
The Thermic Lance is the best melee weapons in Fallout New Vegas, as its attacks ignore Damage Threshold and Resistance, on top of having the highest damage out of all melee weapons!
One attack with this bad boy in V.A.T.S. will reduce a Deathclaw's health to about 1%, with you dealing the finishing blow outside of V.A.T.S.!
Chainsaw
CND: 800 |
||
Damage | Ammo | Fire Rate |
---|---|---|
100 | - | 1 |
STR Req. | Skill Req. | AP |
5-7 | 75 | 65 |
Similar to the Thermic Lance, the Chainsaw's attacks also ignore an enemy's Damage Threshold and Resistance, with also having high damage. You can opt to the Ripper, a smaller weapon with a similar effect, if you don't have enough Strength for the Chainsaw.
Oh, Baby!
CND: 100 |
||
Damage | Ammo | Fire Rate |
---|---|---|
80 | - | 0 |
STR Req. | Skill Req. | AP |
6-8 | 100 | 35 |
Oh, Baby! is a unique melee weapon that boasts high damage, but is slow when executing attacks. It can kill a Deathclaw in 3 charged attacks and 1 normal attack. Just time your attacks right to avoid missing your hits.
