How to Use Psionic Overload

Uses of Psionic Overload

Deal Additional Psychic Damage to Your Attacks

Your attacks gain an additional 1-4 Psychic Damage, which helps when finishing off enemies with a single attack. Just make sure the fight doesn't last longer so you could avoid incurring the 1-4 Psychic Damage to yourself.

Ideal for Physically-Adept Classes

Psionic Overload is a useful ability for classes that specialize in dealing physical attacks. It's recommended to have this equipped if your character or companion has a high Strength stat or knows how to dish out the pain through melee or range combat.

Should Be Used as Last Resort

Psionic Overload comes with a disadvantage when the fight drags on, as you receive 1-4 Psychic Damage for your every turn. To prevent accumulating its penalties, be sure to only use this ability when nearing the end of the fight.
