Obtain the Marsh Badge from Gym Leader Sabrina
You must first obtain the Volcano Badge by defeating Blaine, the Cinnabar Gym Leader.
Teach Waterfall to a Pokemon
Open your Bag, select HM07 Waterfall, and choose a compatible Pokemon to learn the move.
Climb Waterfalls
Stand in front of a waterfall and press the A Button. The Pokemon will carry you up the waterfall.
Waterfall allows your Pokemon to climb vertical waterfalls, opening up late‑game routes and secret areas in the Sevii Islands.
