How to Soft Reset

This puzzle on Birth Island is a post-game challenge, accessible only after you’ve cleared the Pokemon League and obtained the Aurora Ticket.

The black triangle in the center moves each time you interact with it, and you must follow the exact sequence of steps to touch it at every position. Any mistake will reset the triangle to its starting point, so careful attention and precision are required.

Can You Change Forms?

Form Is Locked to Your Game

Once caught, Deoxys remains in its version-specific form. There’s no in-game way to switch between Attack, Defense, or Base Form, so each save file will only ever have the form tied to that version.
