Found in Rocket Warehouse in Five Island

FRLG - Up-Grade in Rocket Warehouse

An Up-Grade can be found in the northwest area of the Rocket Warehouse, which is in Five Island.

From the Pokemon Center of Five Island, head east through the grassy area, then follow the path south until you reach the Rocket Warehouse building. Upon entering the warehouse, simply take the three left arrow spin tiles you see to the left and then take the up arrow spin tiles, and you will be brought near the Up-Grade.

You cannot go into the Rocket Warehouse until you are tasked to retrieve the Sapphire back from Team Rocket as part of Celio's request.

Evolve Porygon into Porygon2 By Trading

Pokemon Evolution Evolution Condition
Pokemon FRLG - Porygon Porygon → Pokemon FRLG - Porygon2 Porygon2 Trade Porygon while holding an Up-Grade.

In FireRed and LeafGreen, Up-Grade's only use is to evolve Porygon into Porygon2 by trading Porygon while it's holding an Up-Grade.
