There is only one Sunstone on Six Island, in the southeastern corner of the Ruin Valley area. Note that this is a postgame area, meaning that players have to enter the Hall of Fame first before getting here.

How to Use the Sun Stone

Open the Items Section of the Bag

Open the Items Tab of the Bag

To use the Sun Stone, open the Bag and look for the item in the Items pocket.

Find the Sun Stone and Select Use

Scroll until you find the Sun Stone, then select it to bring up a menu of options. Choose to Use the Sun Stone to open up your Pokemon team menu, then use it on an eligble Pokemon to evolve them.

The Sun Stone is an evolutionary item that will allow certain Pokemon to evolve into a stronger form. You can check which Pokemon can use it in the preview, as ineligble Pokemon will have no use beside their name.
