Find Oak's Aide in the Route 15 Gate

EXP Share can be obtained from one of Professor Oak's Aides in the Route 15 Gate. To find the aide, head to Fuchsia City and go east until you see the gate to Route 15. Enter and head to the 2nd Floor to find the aide.

Have 50 Pokemon in the Pokedex

To obtain the EXP Share, you need to have registered 50 unique Pokemon into the Pokedex before speaking with the Aide.

EXP Share is a held item that will give the holder 50% of the total EXP gained from battle without having to participate in the fight. This is especially useful for strengthening weaker Pokemon until they are at a stage where they can hold their own.
