HM Moves

HM moves, such as Cut and Strength, cannot be overwritten like other moves. The player will need to visit the Move Deleter to make the Pokemon forget HM moves.

When breeding Pokemon, if the parent Pokemon knows a move that the baby Pokemon can learn, it will inherit that move. If you want the baby to learn certain moves from the parents, you will have to delete the other moves to ensure the wanted moves get passed on.
