The main story of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen provides around 25 to 35 hours of gameplay with varying difficulty based on who you chose as a starter. This covers all content up until you become the Champion and enter the Hall of Fame.

The Sevii Islands provide an additional 15 hours of content for most players with new quests to do, new Pokemon to capture, and Legendaries of different regions to encounter.

Unown Encounter

In the original Game Boy Advance releases of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen, it would take you around 100 hours to complete the game at 100%. This includes challenging all trainers a second time, getting a 4-star trainer card, collected all items, and completed the National Dex.

It is currently impossible to do this on the Nintendo Switch due to the lack of trading features and accessibility with other games required for full completion.
