The Air Armor+ pup gear makes your character take half the damage from enemy attacks. Pair this with the Tuff Stuff gears to survive more hits!

Pikmin 4 - Russ and The Lab

Raw Material Cost 60

You can purchase the Air Armor+ from Russ at the Lab for 60 Raw Materials after buying another type of gear.

In addition to the Tuff Stuff+, you'll also need to purchase the Air Armor first, as the Air Armor+ is an upgraded version of it.

The effects of the Air Armor+ are automatically activated once you get it. You can unequip it at any time by pressing + for the Tablet Menu and going to Gear and Skills.
