This is a walkthrough for Into the Grotto, a sub-quest in Tales of Arise. Learn how to unlock and complete Into the Grotto, as well as its target location, objectives, and rewards for clearing Into the Grotto.

This sub-quest will automatically be triggered upon visiting the Trench of Flame's East Side again. The door won't be unlocked unless you have the Secret Key.
The key to the hidden treasury in the Trench of Flames will be obtained by defeating Efreet Malum in Berg Volcano.
However, you don't have to fight Efreet directly. Instead, you'll fight his horde of zeugles. You still need to be wary of his fireballs and melee attacks as you fight the zeugles he spawns.
The first wave consists of two Magmalems. Douse these zeugles with water-type attacks and aim for their cores as much as possible.
You'll be dealing with Flaming Masses for the second wave. These flying zeugles can cast artes so it's a little trickier to fight them. Use Rinwell's boost attacks to prevent them from casting and equip water artes to douse them too!
The third wave consists of both Magmalems and Flaming Masses. Use the same strategy from the first and second waves to defeat them.
Successfully defeating Efreet Malum will earn you the Secret Key to the Hidden Treasury. Enter the room and be rewarded with the Royal Cape, Witch Dress, some sheep meat, pork, and an omega elixir.
