How to Beat Kisara

To aid in your battle against Kisara, here are some tips that you can utilize in your fight.

1. Use Alphen or Law's Boost Attack
2. Attack When She Kneels

Use Alphen or Law's Boost Attack

Player's initial instinct when seeing Kisara's shield and barriers might be to use Law's Boost Attack to break her guard. Alphen's own Boost Attack, however, is a good alternative. Use both attacks at intervals to more frequently Kisara to kneel.

Attack When She Kneels

Once her guard has been broken, Kisara will kneel down to the ground. This exposes her to your attacks, so having a decently high Penetration stat for either Law, Alphen, or Shionne will allow you to more easily cause significant damage without fear of a counterattack.

Put Attack Characters Upfront

Due to Kisara's high Defense and Resistance, it is a good idea to put all your characters with high Attack and Penetration Parameters in positions to more effectively cause her damage. The leadership role between Alphen and Law can be interchanged, but being able to control Alphen from the start of the battle makes it easier to directly control heavy damage output against Kisara.

Aggressive Attacking

Kisara only becomes aggressive when her HP Bar nears the midpoint. Having Alphen aggressively go toe to toe with her using any of his Artes can allow other characters to attack her while she's distracted.

Apart from this, keep getting better Equipment – there is a Shop that can be used to craft weapons in the area before beginning the fight against Zanacaria that you can use to craft powerful weapons for your entire party – prioritize Alphen's over anybody else's.

Aggressive Attacking

Similar to Alphen's role, Law can be used as an "Aggressive Attacker" that can also adequately go toe to toe with Kisara. His higher Penetration and Attack parameters put him above Shionne in terms of attack, as he can deal plentiful damage against Kisara even with her guard up.

Healing Role

Shionne's roles from other fights does not differ – as an extremely useful healer in the party, you can keep her out of harm's way for her to more fully focus on keeping the party's HP gauge up. Use Orange Gels or any other Consumable to keep the party's CP up and Shionne's healing to continue.

Use as Support Caster

Whatever choice your choices for Rinwell's Artes, it ultimately does not matter as most of the other characters will do the heavy lifting in this fight. The most that Rinwell can do is cast attacks with low damage and cast stat boosters such as Penetration raising Artes to increase the power's party.

Her small attacks do manage to chip some of Kisara's HP away, but overall, she can be let loose to do anything throughout the battle.

Kisara Attack Patterns

Charge Attack

An attack that can cause significant damage and knock you to the ground, Kisara will rush forward to swing her shield against you. These attacks can easily be avoided by performing dodges and then counterattacks to cause interrupts if you have a high enough Penetration parameter.

Mace Strike

In a variation of her Charge Attack, Kisara will similarly rush at you, swinging her mace at you instead of her shield. The damage received from these hits is minimal but is fairly harder to avoid due to how much faster she does the attack compared to when she uses her shield.

Boost Attack

Similar in nature to her Boost Attack, she will slam the end of her shield down to the ground, causing a massive shield to pop up in front of her. These attacks are easily telegraphed, as she frequently performs this in her Over Limit state.
