The easiest way to recover AG is to simply stop attacking and wait it out. Your characters' AG will gradually be restored once you stop attacking or when you dodge enemies.
Your AG's recovery will stop once you start attacking with your characters' artes. Furthermore, basic attacks don't deplete nor restore AG.
It is also possible to recover AG by using Boost Strikes. This technique is essential if you want to perform a combo because it will instantly recover your characters' AG.
When your character has executed a number of perfect evades and taken a sufficient amount of damage, they will enter Over Limit Mode.
Entering Over Limit Mode won't consume AG when you perform artes and it can also let your character perform their Mystic Artes.
AG or Artes Gauge is a precious resource that lets your characters perform artes during a battle. Every arte that your character performs consumes AG and the AG that was consumed depends on the arte that your character just used.
