Camping at campgrounds is a way to help your characters rest, cook, and socialize with each other in Tales of Arise. Learn how to rest at campfires to replenish your party's HP and CP, rewatch Skits, cook meals to give your party buffs!

By interacting with a campfire you will have the option to rest Rest. Resting recovers the party's HP, CP, and heals any Status Ailments free of charge. Resting will also fast forward time to the next morning.
By selecting the Rest option, you will be prompted to cook a meal for your party. If you choose to do so, ingredients that you collect in the overworld will be used for the recipe you select from the list. Each recipe has a different bonus effect and requires certain ingredients.
Certain characters in your party have recipes that they specialize in. Selecting them to prepare the dish will offer different effects on top of what a particular dish already offers.

Throughout your journey in the world, you can trigger short, animated cutscenes involving your party members called Skits. These Skits add a layer of storytelling that helps to flesh out character relationships and the world of Tales of Arise.
These Skits can be re-watched while at a campfire by selecting Reminisce, along with cinematics if you wish to do so.

You can also raise bonding affinity with your companions while on camp. This will give you the opportunity to talk one-on-one with your favorite characters, and you can learn more about their personalities and ambitions!
Raising bond to the maximum affinity will unlock bond-related Titles for your characters. You can also unlock their secondary Mystic Artes. So it is best to talk with everyone to unlock these.

You can also view downloadable contents while you are camping. You can either connect the network to view these DLCs, or claim your unclaimed DLC items.

Campfires can be found throughout the overworld and are denoted by the Campfire Symbol on the map. Some camps may also have a shop vendor nearby which you can buy Items and craft Accessories from.
