Agony Keeper's weak point is located on its tail. If you're using melee characters, it'll be easier to hit when it's on the ground. Focus your attacks on its tail to achieve a core break.

Keep the Battle on the Ground

You should keep the battle against Agony Keeper on the ground, especially if you're using a melee character, since you can attack it safely below and its attacks are easier to dodge even while standing.

Other than waiting for it to turn into a statue before attacking, you can also use boost attacks to bring it down. Remember that you can't boost break the Agony Keeper when it's in Over Limit mode.

Keep aggro away from Shionne

Shionne will be your main healer (as always) in this battle so you must keep her alive. You can equip her with an accessory with Decrease Aggro L skill or maintain aggro on your melee characters.

Agony Keeper Attack Patterns

Piercing Glare

Turns itself into a statue and fires a beam that inflicts Curse. The beam will only sweep in an arc in front of Agony Keeper.

Melee Attacks

While flying, the Agony Keeper will keep attacking with swipes, which are easy to dodge if you're not in midair. It can also perform a spin attack at the end of its Over Limit mode.

Havoc Gale

Agony Keeper's Arte that can summon a tornado from above your character. You can cancel this magic using Rinwell's boost attack.
