The area where you can find Undine Drop will only be available after accepting the sub-quest Untamable Rage. You will find it on the other side of Inner Sanctum.

Aim for the Core

If you're using a melee character, avoid attacking Undine Drop head on. Since it moves slowly and its attacks are predictable, go around it first before performing combos then prepare to dodge when it's about to attack.

However, after downing it with a boost attack (Alphen or Rinwell), quickly move to its front, attack its tongue, and repeat until you achieve a core break. Of course, if you're using a ranged attacker like Rinwell, you can spam spells from a distance. Just be sure to dodge its slams and the slimes' Spread arte.

Dodge the Slams

Your ranged attacker isn't completely safe from Undine Drop as it can quickly jump into the air and slam down on its target. Memorize the timing of its fall and try to perfect dodge this attack.

Taking Out the Slimes

The most difficult part of this battle is the presence of the Slimes. These Slimes hurl poisonous blobs and can even cast Spread.

Have your leader focus on reducing their numbers to at least three while the others attack Undine Drop to prevent the fight from being dragged. Rinwell's AoE Fire artes can also take them out quickly.

Use Boost Attacks Efficiently

Unless you're overleveled, you will inevitably be outnumbered by Slimes in this battle. One of your priorities should be preventing them from casting artes.

Use Rinwell's boost attack to cancel artes only if Undine Drop is casting or at least three Slimes are casting at once. Otherwise, you can use your other party members' boost attacks to interrupt the Slimes.

Try to save your party's boost attacks for this situation and avoid using them just to deal damage as much as you can.

Use Alphen's Blazing Sword artes

Undine Drop and the Slimes are weak to Fire. Make use of Alphen's Blazing Sword artes to quickly dispose of the Slimes and deal massive damage to the boss. Since these attacks also deal damage to Alphen, be sure to bring lots of HP and CP recovering items.

Use Blazing Sword skills

Use Blazing Sword skills to take out the Slimes faster. You can also use these skills on Undine Drop but be sure to keep an eye on your own HP.

Use boost attack on Undine Drop

Alphen's boost attack can instantly down Undine Drop. Use it against the boss every time you can to stop it from attacking for a short while.

Spam Inferno Punch

Exploit Undine Drop's weakness to Fire by spamming Inferno Punch in midair. Unlock the Mid-Air Evasion skill from the skill panel so you can dodge in case Undine Drop attacks while you're in midair.

Dealing with Slimes

You can use Meteor Storm to quickly deal with the Slimes in the field or use Burning Strike for a faster single target cast. Magic Charge Burning Strike to create Flare Tornado, which works well against Undine Drop.

Attack from a safe distance

Try to move away from the Slimes and Undine Drop while spamming either Burning Strike or Tres Ventos. Remember that Burning Strike has casting time so if Undine Drop is preparing to attack or one of the Slimes are casting an arte, use Tres Ventos instead so you can easily prepare for a dodge.

Keep aggro away from Shionne

Shionne will be your main healer in this battle so you must keep her alive. You can equip her with an accessory with Decrease Aggro L skill or retain aggro on your melee characters.

Undine Drop Attack Patterns

Poisonous Blobs

Undine Drop releases poisonous blobs from its mouth or around itself that deal damage and can inflict Poison.

Body Slam

Jumps high into the air and slams down on its target. Undine Drop can perform this attack multiple times in a row.

In some cases, Undine Drop will just raise its body then slam the ground in front of it.

Roar

Lets out a loud roar that deals damage to nearby targets and staggers them for a while.
