| A man who cannot feel pain and lost his memory, Alphen is known as "the man in an iron mask". After a chance encounter with Shionne, he takes the Torch Flame Sword and becomes a part of the struggle to free the Dahna from the rule of the Rena. | |

| Effect (2) | Deals extra damage to downed enemies. After learning its enhancement skill, holding the key longer allows the player to use up more HP to further increase its damage. |

How to Fight As Alphen
Close-quarter Swordfighter
Alphen is a sword user who specializes in close-quarters combat. He also mixes it up by adding aerial and long-range attacks, making him a very well-rounded character that can fight a wide variety of enemies.
Sacrifice HP for More Damage
Alphen's perk greatly increases his damage at the expense of his HP. Try to manage both attacking with his powerful Artes while also evading against enemy attacks.
