| Effect (2) | Deals extra damage to downed enemies. After learning its enhancement skill, holding the key longer allows the player to use up more HP to further increase its damage. |

| Effect | Alphen executes a strong swing attack that burns his own body. This can take down most types of enemies, and becomes stronger if you use up more HP. |
How to Fight As Alphen
Close-quarter Swordfighter
Alphen is a sword user who specializes in close-quarters combat. He also mixes it up by adding aerial and long-range attacks, making him a very well-rounded character that can fight a wide variety of enemies.
Sacrifice HP for More Damage
Alphen's perk greatly increases his damage at the expense of his HP. Try to manage both attacking with his powerful Artes while also evading against enemy attacks.
