How to check additional skills

Tales of Arise - Accessory Skills
You can check the additional Skills by selecting the option to "Change Skill Display" in the Menu Screen.

How to Get Accessories

Obtained from Crafting

Most areas will have a Merchant by a campfire. Talk to these merchants to craft accessories based on the materials in your inventory. These accesory materials are found in Ores scattered throughout Dahna.

Obtained from Chests

Some accessories can also be obtained from chests in various maps, however, these accessories will not have additional skills. You can still sell them for Gald to craft better accessories.

Create accessories with merchants or inns

You can only create accessories with merchants posted near campfires or blacksmiths posted inside inns. The cost of crafting an accessory will depend on the ore that you will use.

Ore rarity determines additional skills

Rarity 1 2 3 4 5
Additional Skill None 1 Skill 2 Skills 3 Skills 4 Skills

To craft accessories, use the accessory materials harvested from ores in the field. Ores will have a variety or rarities, and their rarity determines the number of randomized additional skills you can get. Check out the table above to know all the potential skills you can have.

Enhancements unlock additional skills

Enhancing is kind of a separate thing where you level up an accessory to level 5. Once it has reached level 5 it can be used as a material to upgrade a separate accessory. Even if you can't find that Rank 5 material, you can still enhance and refine your accessory to rank 5 and unlock additional skills.

Additional Skills can be transferred

Tales of Arise - Transferrable Skills.jpg
Additional skills can be transferred to create even stronger accessories. You should increase the level of the accessories you will get the skills from because enhanced accessories to the maximum will have more skills to choose from.

Transfer Notes

Checkmark.pngAccessories used in porting will be lost

Checkmark.pngChoose a Base Accessory with a high rarity

Checkmark.pngAccessory must be max leveled for transfer

Make sure you don't make a mistake with the base accessories and the accessories to be ported, because you will lose the accessories used in the transfer.

On rank 3 of acessories, ''Elemental attack +15%'' does not exist or is a very rare one, because I couldn't find it over hundreds of high rank acessories.
