All Artifact Locations

Artifacts in Tales of Arise are items that provide different bonuses and perks for an easier gameplay. Read on to learn all artifact locations, how to get them, their effects, what artifacts do, how to use them, as well as the reward for getting all the artifacts in the game!

There are a total of 23 Artifacts that you can get in the game. Get these artifacts to unlock special bonuses that your party can benefit from in your adventure!

Crocodile Crusher

Location: The Crocodile Crusher artifact can automatically be obtained at Mount Diara - Mountain Trail as you progress through the story.

Effect: Arte Set + 1 - Allows an additional 6 artes to be set.

Location: Complete the sub-quest The Mysterious Pair.

Effect: More Ore - Increases the amount of ore acquired from mining points.

Location: Complete the sub-quest Gourmet Saga: Prairie Scent.

Effect: Cooking Effect Boost 1 - Makes the effects of recipes last 10% longer.

Blade of Sealing

Location: Blade of Sealing can be found inside a chest at a ruined tower located on the west end of Adan Lake in Mahag Saar.

Effect: 1 Damage - Reduces all damage, both taken and inflicted, to just 1.

Drums of the Master

Location: Located in Aureum Falls - Top Level in Ganath Haros. From the Upper Level Exit, jump down the waterfall on the northeast side of the map then climb to the Top Level to find a chest.

Effect: Combat Point Boost - Increases Combat Points earned from battle by 20%.

Location: Complete the sub-quest Echoes.

Effect: SP Boost - Increases SP earned from battle by 20%.

Effect: EXP Boost - Increases EXP earned from battle by 20%.

Location: Clear Dohalim's Advanced Solo Battle in the Training Grounds.

Effect: Reckless Abandon - +100% damage dealt and damage received.

Location: Defeat Chronos during the Otherworldly Visitors sub-quest, then open the chest behind Chronos to get the Mechanical Doll Accessory artifact.

Effect: Off The Radar - Makes you undetectable when making contact with enemy icons.

Location: Complete the sub-quest Untamabale Rage.

Location: Find Owl #33 in Iglia Wastes, Calaglia.

Effect: Carry Over Records - Allows you to carry over library entries to a New Game+ after clearing the game.

Location: Find Owl #34 in the Lord's Castle in Glanymede Castle, Calaglia.

Effect: Carry Over Equipment - Allows you to carry over weapons, armor, and accessories to a New Game+ after clearing the game.

Location: Find Owl #35 in the Hidden Chamber in the Riville Prison Tower, Cyslodia.

Effect: Carry Over Money and Items - Allows you to carry over gald and inventory items to a New Game+ after clearing the game.

Location: Find Owl #36 in the Guard Room in Autelina Palace, Elde Menancia.

Effect: Carry Over Levels - Allows you to carry over the party's individual levels and stats to a New Game+ after clearing the game.

Location: Find Owl #37 in the Lord's Chamber in Del Fharis Castle in Ganath Haros.

Effect: Carry Over Skills - Allows you to carry over titles and learned skills to a New Game+ after clearing the game.

Location: Find Owl #38 in the Uninhabited Island.

Effect: Carry Over Arte Proficiencies - Allows you to carry over arte proficiencies and arte usage counts to a New Game+ after clearing the game.

Machine Beast Statue

Location: Find all owls, then talk to the Owl King in the Owl Forest.

Effect: Carry Over Outfits - Allows you to carry over costumes, haircuts, and cosmetic accessories to a New Game+ after clearing the game.

What are Artifacts?

Provides Special Passive Effects

Artifacts are items that grant special bonus effects just by having them. You'll obtain your first Artifact after Dohalim joins your party, but most of the other Artifacts are obtained through sub-quests. These artifacts also have designs that you probably have already seen somewhere.

Recommended for New Game Plus

Starting New Game Plus from your cleared save data allows you to carry over the Artifacts from your first playthrough.

In addition, it is also possible to carry some of your progress such as party level, Skill Panel progress, Records, and other contents if you have the Artifact that allows you to carry them over. Because of this, it is highly recommended that you find all Artifacts first before moving on to New Game Plus.

How to Use Artifacts

Toggle On or Off From the Menu

You can toggle the effects of the Artifacts that you have. Just open the menu, select “Field Guide”, then “Artifacts”. From there, you can view the list of skills that you obtained from your Artifacts and choose which ones you want to be enabled or disabled.
